ANIMAL PORTRAITS

Animals reflect our character, and have the ability to build relationships of great depth with us. I enjoy painting them a lot, in fact, they might be my most favourite subject.

I offer individual portraits of pets and other animals as commissioned works, based on reference photos. Below the gallery you find more information on commissions and prices.

COMMISSIONED WORKS

I offer commissioned portrait works in acrylics, oils, or as pencil drawings, in square and portrait formats in all sizes. For common sizes between 25x25cm and 50x50cm, the price is between 190 EUR and 350 EUR (plus shipping), and depends on the size, the technique and the complexity of the scene.

IMAGE SELECTION

The best thing is to send me several pictures, from which I can develop a proposal. To make your favorite portrait as vivid as possible, your photo should meet the following criteria:

Not too small, it should be possible to zoom in and see individual details clearly
As sharp as possible, not blurred
Good lighting conditions, ideally taken outdoors. Contrasts of warm sunlight and shade on fur make a shot particularly interesting
Both eyes should be visible and no more than one should be in the shadow (unless you want a profile view)
